Desktop Security & Desktop Security Software....

Hello, I'm Rob, and I love my computer....most of the time. Recently my computer got infected with a virus and spyware.

I didn't realize that I was infected at first. My computer just kept hanging up and getting slower and slower. I was ready to buy a new machine when I finally figured out was wrong. If your machine is behaving oddly don't throw it out. You can repair it with desktop security software!

Why Desktop Security is just Not all that Complicated

I have no idea why people want to make desktop security in general -- and desktop security software in specific -- so complicated!

This is NOT rocket science...

Do you need it? YES! ABSOLUTELY!

Is desktop security expensive? NO! Complicated? NO!

Is it hard to install? NOT AT ALL!

So then what is the big deal here? (I have no idea.) Desktop security is no more difficult to install than any other software in my opinion... and if you can read the simple prompts after AutoPlay starts the install -- you have it handled!

Now -- what is the first step?

First, obviously I hope -- you want to do some research on desktop security. Go to your favorite search engine and enter those two words. Then click around a bit and see:

* what is available
* what is the best for your specific needs
* check the costs
* see if you get a physical product or just a download
* read some reviews on the various desktop security programs * etc.

Next, the second step is to choose a product that guards your online access both in and out for email, browsing, downloading, and any other online activities in which you regularly participate. Get your software and hook it up!

That is how (NOT) difficult it is to have your own desktop security completely set up and protecting you in a very short time -- in perhaps and hour or less if your research is not too extensive... and surely in an afternoon if you research a handful of desktop security programs or services.

Once it is one your computer, simply set it to do all of its tasks automatically (including getting its own updates regularly.) So set it and forget it. Therefore, in a word -- NO -- desktop security is not complicated, not expensive, not hard to install...

... and YES! you need it. Today!

Losing a hard drive, your personal identity or credit card info, log ins, emails, pictures, and/or anything else you want to keep (and keep private) is not a happy place to be. So set up your desktop security today before you end up saying to yourself, "I wish I had..."

How Desktop Security Saved my Butt More than Once!

If that headline made you laugh, you have either lost a hard drive to a virus, or you know that you will.. and yours was a really nervous laugh...

You WILL at some point will lose a hard drive if you are online at all.

You're either on top of your desktop security, or you are playing Russian Roulette with all your data and private information. I hope you realize this is not a joke, too...

Some viruses, Trojans, worms, et al merely cause you some heartburn and acid indigestion. Others sneak into your email account and use you as a spam host. Still others get into the boot sector of your hard drive or other super-important stuff and turn it into worthless alphabet soup.

Did I mention that you will lost a hard drive at some point? OK, just checking...

If you are online -- you are at risk. If you are not online, don't worry about it.

For one thing, a good security move is to never open an email from someone you don't know. And NEVER click a link in an email from someone you don't know. If you forget these rules, you'd better have some good desktop security installed.

Oh - and never download a song, greeting card, free software, beta version of anything, as well. If you do, you'd better have some good desktop security on board.

Enough is enough. You either understand the importance of having top-of-the-line desktop security -- or you don't. If you do, check out the current and comprehensive info we provide you on our excellent website.

If you don't, I suggest you do a full backup of your entire computer at least once a day. It is only a matter of time before you experience that "OH NO!" second in which you shake your head at yourself and say, "I wish I had listened..."
